Derby Daily Telegraph
The Derby Daily Telegraph are now light years ahead after Aerelink were commissioned by one of our partners to install Free Space Optics 100Mb 500m system. The system connects their main printing and distribution plant to nearby offices.
Forth Ports
Aerelink support and maintain a number of 5.4 and 5.8Ghz point to point and point to multipoint equipment for Forth Ports. These links connect port buildings as well as CCTV and gate access control systems.
JC Payne
Midlands based JC Payne are now working more efficiently due to a 5.8Ghz WiLAN Libra 5800 system that Aerelink were commissioned to install on behalf of one of our channel partners. Two branch offices are now enjoying seamless connectivity to the head office with the newly installed point-to-multipoint RF system.
North East Microelectronics Institute
Employed Aerelink to design and install point-to-point microwave radio links between the Centre for Advanced Industry at North Shields to the newly constructed ATMEL campus across North Tyneside. One link provides the Institute with 155Mbps and another one provides 34Mbps back-up in the case of failure.
Sky Television
Working in strategic partnership with a major integration partner to deploy Free Space Optics into Sky Television. BSKYB have several FSO systems commissioned on their sites providing 100Mbit to 1Gbit connectivity.
Sunderland Housing
Both point-to-point and point-to-multipoint radio deployment using a combination of Alvarion and Orthogon equipment throughout the area to connect high rise towers to a central concierge control room.
Tayside Police
Aerelink recently assisted Tayside Police in helping to Police BBC Radio One’s, One Big Weekend, which took place at Camperdown Park in Dundee. Aerelink gave the Force the use of Wireless Point – to – Point equipment enabling high speed communication between the concert venue within the park and the force H.Q. In actual fact, due to the dense foliage surrounding the Park and other Geographical challenges it was actually a Point to Point to Point to Point to Point Link that was installed, i.e. 3 systems linked back to back. The Force were very impressed with the quality, ease of deployment and performance of the links and have subsequently trialled the use of the same equipment elsewhere in the force area. Tayside Police Spokesperson Hein Zwart commented “During events requiring constant police communication via onsite crime reporting and management systems, Aerelink’s solution proved robust and reliable.”
