Telecoms leader John Standaloft appointed to the board at Aerelink
Award-winning telecommunications solutions provider, Aerelink, has appointed internationally experienced telecoms leader John Standaloft to its board. As non-executive director, Standaloft, who has over 35 years experience in the industry, will help drive Aerelink’s ambitious expansion plans.
This new appointment follows Aerelink’s recent acquisition of networking and wireless telecoms provider Rapier Systems. Standaloft’s experience in returning MLL Telecom to profitable growth, in addition to developing a successful WAN Audit strategy and as the architect behind Marconi Online’s £50m growth strategy, will bolster the company’s commitment to investing in new markets and services
Aerelink’s managing director, Steve Swift, said: “John has a proven track record of delivering increased market share and profitability in this industry. More importantly, he brings with him exceptional leadership qualities and vision that complements that of our senior management team.”
Since opening its headquarters at Turnstone Business Park, Widnes, in December 2009, Aerelink has expanded its services by adding a fully-managed network monitoring service. This has enabled the company to offer a proactive monitoring service both to new and existing customers, while driving down costs and providing improved service level agreements over traditional carrier services.
